A Versatile Tool
Hinged rings are such a versatile tool – useful for anyone!
I attach a laminated card with a photo of who is picking up my child, along with “Picking you up today.” It provides a clear visual for both teachers and my child, and can be easily swapped depending on the routine.
Supporting Communication
I also use hinged rings to hold laminated flashcards for songs, food or activities. Portable and attachable to a lanyard, they support communication, vocabulary, and requesting – and can be updated as interests change.
